Hey guys, its time to put your game face on! With iPhone 4S and iOS 5 launching in about a week’s time, Firemint is getting ready to release a mega update to their stunning iOS game franchise, Real Reaching 2 and Real Racing 2 HD which will introduce a brand new feature called “Party Play”. Utilizing wireless video mirroring over AirPlay feature of iOS 5 and the power of A5 chips in iPad 2 and iPhone 4S, Part Play will take iOS gaming to the next level by allowing wireless local multiplayer match ups for up to 4 players simultaneously in a split screen display on your HD TV.

With the impending release of iPhone 4S and iOS 5, Firemint is excited to announce details of the next major update to Real Racing 2 and Real Racing 2 HD. Not only are we bringing AirPlay support to iPad 2 and iPhone 4S, we also have a very special new feature in store… Party Play.

Party Play takes AirPlay to the next level of iOS gaming, facilitating wireless local multiplayer for up to 4 players simultaneously in a split screen display output to your HD TV using an iPad 2 or iPhone 4S as the host. Play in the comfort of your own home and experience the joy of championship racing with iOS 5.

In addition to these great new features the update promises gorgeous graphical enhancements that make use of the iPad 2 & iPhone 4S A5 processor. Take a look at how Party Play works in this YouTube video.

Looks like the Wii U will suffer the same fate as the 3DS competing directly with mobile devices that do simmilar things.

Works with iPhone 4S & iPad 2 only.  It requires the power of the A5 processor.
