Apple Advertises iTunes Boxing Week Sale in Canada

Apple typically hosts one sale a year, on Black Friday, forgoing any sort of Boxing Day discounts. However, this year, Canadians are getting an exclusive iTunes Boxing Week sale. Boxing Day is recognized in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and a few other Commonwealth nations, but so far, the iTunes sale is only appearing in the Canadian iTunes Stores.

The sale includes a selection of songs discounted to 69-cent and albums selling between $5.99 and $7.99. The selection of 69-cent song consisting of the top-selling and best songs from 2011, as well as a selection of classic hits.

At the moment there’s no indication how long the sale will last.

Apple Canada has also recently announced their 12 Days of Christmas promotion, where each day will include a free download of either music, TV, movies, apps, or books.
