Steve Jobs To Be Included In ‘The Creative Hall Of Fame’ At An Event In New York On January 17th

The One Club is the world’s foremost non-profit organization devoted to elevating creative work in the industry by promoting excellence in advertising and design in all its form. In honor of his many design-related accomplishments, Steve Jobs will be inducted into the Creative Hall of Fame by The One Club at an event which will take place in New York City on January 17, 2012 (via MacTrast). The event will reportedly feature a number of legendary ads, including Apple’s iconic 1997 Think Different ad.

The following statement has been issued by The One Club:

Steve Jobs will be honored for a lifetime of contributions to design, branding and communications. As a visionary leader, his passion for design not only created products that changed the way we interact with technology and media, but changed the way we create content in media.

This historic occasion will be celebrated at Gotham Hall with cocktails, dinner and a presentation ceremony chaired by David Lubars, Chairman and Chief Creative Officer at BBDO.
