Yahoo! Axis, a unique search browser for iOS has just been released that brings one of a kind browsing experience to the world’s most popular mobile platform. Available for download in the App Store (U.S. only) as a universal binary for iPhone and iPad, Axis does not return a list of links for your searches, but rather shows webpage image previews optimized for touchscreen navigation. I downloaded Axis earlier with my US iTunes account (in Canada) and it works great. Pretty sure the app will soon be available outside of the US, which is typical for large app launches like this.

It’s news when it becomes available for Canada. It’s why I come here, for Canada specific news related to iphone.
Many Canadian users like myself have US iTunes accounts. Here’s a tip, you see that “[U.S. Only]” tag? it means it’s a product/app only available in the…you guessed it, the U.S.!!!!
