Apple ‘iPhone 5,2’ Prototype Appears In Server Logs?

According to TechCrunch, a ‘reliable source’ has found proof of an iPhone 5,2 prototype in their server logs. It’s currently unclear whether the iPhone 5,2 or 5,1 will hit production, but at least we know Apple is actively testing with prototypes.

TechCrunch reports:

A few short days after rumors began swirling that Apple would hold this year’s fall event on Sept. 12, a reliable source just sent a screen grab of a next-gen iPhone popping up in his/her/its server logs.

The next generation iPhone is expected to be announced on September 12th, according to earlier reports. If all pans out, the iPhone will include a 4-inch display and 19 pin dock connector (or 8-pin connector). And if everything pans out, we could also see a thinner iPhone, thanks to in-cell display technology.
