Will The Next-Gen iPod Nano Have Wi-Fi Capabilities?

A report by Japanese blog Macotakara has brought new life to the iPod Nano, while also providing insight on the smaller iPad’s name. I wouldn’t label this upcoming report as a done-deal, it’s fairly notable that Macotakara’s track record is sometimes on the money, and other times a mile off.

iPod nano

Apple’s iPod nano is one product currently being neglected by Apple these past few years. The iPod touch has received the same treatment, but there have at least been clues hinting to a release.

With our source’s report, they believe the next generation iPod nano will include a Wi-Fi antenna particularly to provide iTunes in the cloud. Assuming the device will have a larger screen than the past model, users will be capable of re-downloading previously downloaded music, TV shows, and movies directly on their device.

Next iPod nano may equip Wi-Fi antenna on side of that case, and support iTunes Music Cloud in order Apple to provide a iconic product to promote the largest Music Store in the world.

iPad Mini

While we try to keep iPad news on iPadinCanada, we at times report iPad-related news on here if a dual-device report surfaces. In this case, Macotakara mentioned the smaller iPad will indeed be named “iPad mini.” (Translated from the source)

According to Asian source, the name of Apple’s new product, which is expected to be 7′ 85″ and called as iPad mini, will be named as “iPad mini” officially. This source expects that “iPad” logo will be printed on back of case same as “iPod” is printed on iPod nano and iPod touch, and it means one new product will be added on iPad’s product brand genre..

That about wraps it up. If you are looking for a release date for the iPod nano, history has suggested a September release point. Who knows, Apple may release the nano alongside the iPhone on September 12th.
