Calgary Parking Authority’s ‘MyParking’ iPhone App Available for Download

The Calgary Parking Authority has released their MyParking iPhone app and so far it looks to be a winner.

MyParking from the Calgary Parking Authority is designed to help make your parking experience in Calgary more convenient. Download this app and pay for parking in any ParkPlus zone with a touch of a button, access parking rates and help locate an on-street or off-street parking stall.

 The app shows real-time information on the availability of parking spots within parkades and meters on the street level, which basically will eliminate hunting for spots ever again. You can also select a future date to see if parking will be available at your destination. Green lines represent spots available while red indicates few are available.

The app is also full of parking information such as how to pay your tickets or important numbers to call if you car was towed. Plus, the CPA apps includes a one-tap call for ParkAid service, which will provide a free battery boost or tire inflation, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The CPA MyParking app looks to be a powerful parking app other cities will surely be jealous of.

Back in August, the CPA launched their Text to Park service.
