With winter in full swing it’s always better to be well-informed and prepared if you’re a traveller. If you live in Calgary, the city has created a free app to provide its citizens with real-time traffic updates and also views of traffic cameras as well:

The City of Calgary Road Conditions app is designed to help you plan your commute. Download this app and get real-time information on road conditions and traffic cameras.

Calgary’s snow route parking ban has been put into place as of last Friday. So that means anyone parking on a banned street can get a ticket or get towed. Luckily, the Calgary Road Conditions app also provides snow ban updates too. The map also shows where plows and sanders are in the city.
