Fido $30 Promo: Unlimited SMS, Long Distance, 5pm Evenings, 200 Minutes, CID/VM

Fido’s website has another voice promo plan available, this time for $30. The plan is listed under its Standard Plans page and includes the following:

  • Unlimited SMS/MMS
  • Unlimited International SMS/MMS
  • 200 anytime minutes
  • Unlimited 5PM evenings and weekends
  • Unlimited Canada-wide long distance
  • Mini Voicemail (up to 3 messages of 3 minutes each, saved up to 3 days)
  • Call Display
  • $30/month

You may recall back in late December Fido had the same offer above, but for $25 and only 150 daytime minutes. If you are one of those people that use Wi-Fi only with your iPhone, this is a decent voice plan as it includes caller ID and voicemail plus free long distance. Additionally, you could also get the $10 add-on for unlimited Canada-wide calling (zone free) to make this a decent $40 plan. Let us know if you’re going to jump on this.

Thanks @rieserrano!

No, it includes nationwide king distance, not nationwide zones. If you travel outside your area code you will pay roaming unless you add the 10$. Very useful if you have a Montreal number (514) but live up north(450).

We are in 2013 and yet caller ID and voicemail are still considered features of a plan????

Ya, I went for this + the $10.00 for unlimited no zone anytime Canada wide calling. I think that’s what the extra 10 buck is for (unlimited weekday calling between 7:00am and 5:00pm.)

No Unlimited Incoming Calls?!?!
WHY did they remove this feature from the $30 plan?! It’s similar to the $25 holiday plan, right? But it’s more expensive so they should have included the unlimited incoming calls.
Disappointed.
