Conquest Vehicles, a company based just outside of Toronto, specialised in hand-building luxury SUVs for high-profile clients around the world, has built a $629,000 armoured Knight XV, that features integrated iPad controls, a Sony Playstation 3, a 12-speaker Alpine entertainment media system with 2,500 watt power, dual thermal vision cameras, a bar, marble laptop tables and so much more. Even the tires of the car are ballistic, which makes the car pretty much bomb-proof. Wow!
The vehicles takes about 4,000 hours to complete, and is available as either a 6.8-litre V10 that runs on gasoline or a 6.7-litre turbo diesel V8.
“Conquest Vehicle Inc’s flagship vehicle, the KNIGHT XV defines the future of the ultra-luxurious, handcrafted fully armored SUV. This one-of-a-kind, V10, 6.8-litre, Bio-fuel powered SUV was inspired by military vehicle designs and features security appointments that are unrivaled in today’s SUV marketplace. The production of the KNIGHT XV will be limited to 100 vehicles”.
Conquest believes that luxury SUVs such as the BMW X6, Mercedes-Benz GL-Class, or Lexus LX 570, don’t even come close to the Knight XV 2012. “Think more along the lines of Rolls-Royce”, they say, calling it the kind of vehicle “a rich – very rich – person would buy”, who wants to be chauffered around in luxury.
Even though a very few people can actually afford a Conquest vehicle, every Canadian should however be proud of the company. Check out the video for more:
