TELUS has announced today they will soon be offering iPads for sale to customers at their retail locations. Cellular + Wi-Fi versions of the fourth generation iPad and iPad mini will be available “in the coming weeks” we’re told with a variety of data plans without a contract. Existing flex data plans start at $5 for 10MB of data, all the way up to 500MB to 5GB for $40. Prepaid iPad data plans currently start at $10 for 100MB of data.

There is no word on pricing but you can expect it to be the same as Apple.ca. By offering iPads for sale and having them on hand, it’s just another way for TELUS customers to quickly get their cellular iPads setup and running right away.
Update: Rogers has informed us they will also be offering cellular versions of the iPad soon as well.
