Lawyer Sues Apple For Not Protecting Him From Porn, Ruining His Marriage

People sue for the strangest things in the U.S. and in this case, one Nashville lawyer has targeted Apple for not protecting him from porn (you can’t make this stuff up), which ultimately resulted in him becoming “totally out of synch in his romantic relationship with his wife” because of his Apple product, reports Above the Law (via CNET):
UNFAIR COMPETITION AND INTERFERENCE OF THE MARITAL CONTRACT: The Plaintiff became totally out of synch in his romantic relationship with his wife, which was a consequence of his use of his Apple product. The Plaintiff began desiring, younger more beautiful girls featured in porn videos than his wife, who was no longer 21. His failed marriage caused the Plaintiff to experience emotional distress to the point of hospitalization. The Plaintiff could no longer tell the difference between internet pornography and tangible intercourse due to the content he accessed through the Apple products, which failed to provide him with warnings of the dangers of online pornography whatsoever.
The above may sound like a joke but it’s not. The lawyer who filed the complaint, Chris Sevier, is suffering from “mental infirmity or illness” and is on disability inactive status by order of the Tennessee Supreme Court (this explains a lot). Time to put your iOS devices on lockdown, Mr. Sevier.

First the lawsuit was filed, which surprised everyone.
Then in an update, it was revealed the lawyer had lost his marbles.
Was the second part suppose to be a surprise too??
I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say losing his marbles probably had more to do with the dissolution of his marriage than anything else.
Most likely…then came…the devilish iPhone which was unable to protect him from sinning, alone.
So it’s Apples fault that he likes porn? And that he went crazy, I guess it’s apples fault that he’s insane also….
it doesn’t sound like a joke, it sounds like scam . i mean suing Apple doesn’t make sense , he would be better suing the porn sites. I saw a warning label on a fridge… “Do not climb on top of fridge as you may fall and hurt yourself”. They had to do that because someone sued them for not providing such a warning.
As I recall waaaaay back, an old lady who just bought a cup of coffee from McDonald’s accidentally spilled it over herself and suffered minor burns. She then sued McDonald’s for not having warnings on the cups to warn people that the coffee is hot. She won, and McDonald’s had to pay her more than 1 million. And that’s why we have warnings on the cups now.
Actually, not sure if it was McDonald’s.
LOL – Despite the warnings, it still happens.
As I understand it, there’s a reason this sort of thing (suing companies and people) doesn’t happen nearly as often in Canada… “The loser pays”. So, if you suit someone or some company and lose, you have to pay their court costs and, perhaps, other related expenses.
I have several lawyers (for various things), and one is in Seattle. He mentioned to me once the he has one client who makes it his profession to suit companies. He will have multiple law suits on the go at any given time.
That happened in Nova Scotia Canada.. The mcd’s was owned by a family friend.. He lost millions

If i remember correctly she had 3rd degree burns and had to hospitalized for over a week and have skin grafting done. I am not agreeing with her decision to sue McDonald’s because coffee is hot and is supposed to be. However, 3rd degree burns, skin grafting, and over a week of hospitalization are NOT caused by “MINOR BURNS”.

If you ever get a 3 foot bar fridge from Sub Zero, there will be a sticker warning that the fridge must be fastened to the wall to avoid the fridge tipping over and crushing someone.
Sick and tired of people not taking responsibility for their own actions.. This guy clearly got caught by his wife looking at porn, and is looking to pass the buck… This is the problem with people today.. They can’t take responsibility for their mistakes, and it pisses me off
