Netflix has announced Canadian comedian Russell Peters will premiere his latest stand-up “Notorious”, exclusively on Netflix, debuting on October 14 at 12:01AM. The 70-minute comedy performance and four part docu-series which followed Peters on his Notorious tour will be a available to Netflix members in the U.S., Canada, the UK, Ireland, Latin America, the Nordics and the Netherlands.

“Russell’s genius is his uncanny gift to identify the idiosyncratic within all of us,” says Lisa Nishimura, VP of Originals, Netflix. “He is prolific, fresh and a global force that will resonate with our members around the world.”

“I’ve always prided myself on being outside the box and slightly ahead of the curve, which is why Netflix is the perfect fit for me,” says Peters. “Plus, the web took my career to a whole other level – we both owe a lot to the Internet.”

“Notorious” will hold a screening at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on September 9. The comedy performance was filmed live at the Allphones Arena in Sydney, Australia on March 15, 2013.

Good to hear…I am sure it will be available on torrents afterwards 😉
BTW, RP is becoming a big sell-out. First he appeared as an opening act for Charlie Sheen’s tour and now Neflix?!

I love it when Russell Peters refers to his crowd as “you downloading bastards” lol

Well if you already have an account then it might be easier to just stream it from netflix, don’t have to take up the space on your HD. But yeah download and save yourself the 8 bucks a month. (you didn’t hear that from me)

you still save the file in your cache when streaming. streaming programming is not worth it for me. if you can get unique channels like AXSTV (Art Mann presents) formerly known as HDNet included at no additional charge then I might consider it. Otherwise, you can always subscribe to netflix as a one week free trial and ensure you cancel after a week. however, Netflix USA is much better than Canada’s version. Use Unotelly DNS to bypass country filters.

or unblock-US (a Toronto company), is pay, but they constantly update and add more and more sites to their DNS service. So you can get hulu, netflix, hbogo (need and account holder though) and lots of sports stuff.
also you can get UK programing and other countries

+1. These two companies are still cheaper than a VPN. Unotelly has VPN service as well. Unlike Hidemyass though which is heavily recommended and advertised by someone on twitter, you can’t configure your server to a particular country and you can’t access or trick Google Play into thinking you’re in another country. But for the services you mention, both work well.

One of the unfunniest people I’ve ever had the unfortunate pleasure of seeing. No idea how this hack got so popular. He’s not Dane Cook bad, but he’s definitely around there.
