I’m pretty sure iOS can download the delta updates (only what has changed) while iTunes downloads the entire OS.

Attention to detail, it might be small, but its exemplary of Apple.

I worry this update will slow my iPhone 5. I was assured I wasn’t going to get any lag with my iPod touch 4G when iOS 6 came about. That was a lie. I think it’s all about Apple wanting you to buy a new device.

I will update. I will keep 6.0.1.4 until I get the iPhone 6S. I’ll then sell the iPhone 5 to someone.

Does anyone else have a problem with the grayed out simple passcode screen after the patch? The 4 dots that indicate a character entry are now barely visible. However at times when I login to my phone they are like normal and easily visible. The first time I tried to login I thought my login screen was not accepting my keypad entries.
It is very irritating and definitely started immediately after the 7.02 patch
