Telus ‘Refreshed’ 16GB iPhone 4S Available for $349, Contract Free
Telus is offering refurbished 16GB iPhone 4S models for $349 outright online, part of their ‘web exclusive’ offers on ‘refreshed’ smartphones.

Apple sells brand new 8GB unlocked iPhone 4S models for $450. These Telus models are refurbished for $349 but locked to Telus. So if you end up paying $35 to unlock the phone from Telus, you are saving about $65 and you get 16GB instead of 8GB (but your iPhone isn’t brand new).
If you’re into contracts, you can get the phone for $0 on a two year term with a minimum $60/month plan (voice + data). But if you’re going to do a contract, a brand new 8GB iPhone 4S is already $0 on two years.
We last saw this refurbished model available back in August.
With Telus Certified Pre-Owned Phones, they are physically inspected, undergo a functional test, network quality test and full system and software restoration. All phones have been used no more than 30 days maximum. iPhones come with a 6 month warranty.

Or you could get a nexus 5 for the same price. I’m an iphone 5 user, but I wouldn’t pay that price for an iphone that’s 2 generations removed from the flagship product.
Yep. The Nexus 5 is priced aggressively.
450-(350+35)=65 and not 15… tech blog… just sayin’
Wow. This is why I should not write at midnight. Fixed, thanks. (FML).
