Secure Your Starbucks iOS Login Credentials by Installing the Security Update
Looks like the Starbucks iOS app SNAFU is over. After admitting the company was aware login credentials and geolocation data were being stored on the app unencrypted in clear text, Starbucks last night pushed out an additional security update to its iOS app. This is on top of the earlier changes made vaguely detailed in a public letter to customers by its CTO.

If you haven’t installed the update, you should do so now. Click here to download the Starbucks iOS app—it’s free.
