Google Design Director Calls the New Fitbit Air a Total Win
Google's Jonah Becker has revealed that the massive early success of the screenless Fitbit Air proves consumers are suffering from display fatigue.

A new concept from Arthur Reis turned into a video by Ran Avni shows off what a 4.5-inch ‘iPhone 6’ concept might look like that sports a design looking more like an iPad Air with its volume rocker buttons and mute/silent switch. Check it out below:
What do you think of this concept (remember, it’s just a concept)?

Too many concepts, where are the widgets?
Nicest looking one so far!

Looks pretty, but a curved screen would suffer from more screen glare problems than a flat screen. The curve would pick up a wider reflection, so it would be harder to angle your phone to avoid glare behind you. Ironically, even the renders in the video show half the phone being illegible in a lot of the clips.
If the intent is to design an object that is beautiful on its own, then this is a nice concept, but the point of a phone is to design something that will work and function well.
