Canadian online retailer SHOP.CA has released an iOS app for the iPhone and iPad to allow shoppers to make purchases on the go. The retailer looks to compete with the likes of Amazon.ca and other online shopping portals to achieve their goal “to be Canada’s number one online shopping destination.”

SHOP.CA closed on $31 million in Series B funding this May, which included investments from Shaw Ventures, a subsidiary of Shaw Communications. The retailer also announced Aeroplan had signed on to provide another loyalty incentive for shoppers.
