YouTube channel iCrackUriDevice has gone hands-on with an alleged gold 4.7-inch iPhone 6 shell, which we’ve all seen before.
But this time, there’s a further in-depth look at the purportedly leaked iPhone 6 rear shell compared to previous leaked iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c shells that hasn’t been detailed before in a video. Check it out below:
Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 6 sometime this fall in 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models, however the latter is rumoured to be delayed until late 2014 or early next year.

Maybe it’s just me, but those fat separator seams in all of these “leaked” rear shells look very un-Apple, especially with Sir Ives at the design helm.
Yeah, I can’t imagine the lines being there in the final product. They could be indicators of where glass needs to be inserted like the 5/5S design.
I’m really hoping they’re intending to fill those gaps with some of that liquid metal we all heard about ages ago.
Otherwise, the marketing team is going to have to do one hell of a job with those slow spinning videos and such to make this design look nice.
