Yahoo has launched an update to their iOS app which brings an all-new design that looks much cleaner than before. This update in particular brings official support for Canadian English and French:
Today we’re introducing the latest Yahoo Mail app for iPhone and iPad in Canada, so all the information that’s most important to you is right at your fingertips. The new Yahoo Mail app will also be rolling out to Android phones over the next week. We’ve designed it with a focus on simplicity: it’s the familiar Yahoo Mail experience, plus one-tap access to personalized, real-time information.
There’s a new Mail, News and Today tab along the bottom of your inbox so you can stay on top of what’s going on quickly. The Today tab shows your local weather along with feature Flickr photos of your location, while the News tab shows the latest headlines.
Also new are smart suggestions while you type for contacts and messages, plus specific filters for search such as emails with files or photos, coming in the next couple of days.
Looks like a decent way to integrate mail and news together. The only problem—I can’t remember the last time I touched a Yahoo Mail account.
