Mailbox for iOS Update Adds 19 Languages, Printing, Passbook Support, Spam Filter and More

Mailbox for iOS has been updated today bring quite a few new features. The most notable is the additional support for 19 languages, the ability to mark and view messages as spam (finally!), Passbook attachments support, permanent delete by emptying the trash, plus 24 hour clock in the settings.

What’s New in Version 2.1
– Now translated into 19 languages, including Chinese (both Simplified and Traditional), Danish, Dutch, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Spanish (both European and Latin American), Swedish, Thai and English
– View spam and mark messages as spam
– Passbook support
– Permanent delete from trash and spam
– Bug fixes and performance improvements

Also new is the ability to star messages and print email messages. This looks like a pretty decent update.

Why do we need this app again? The native iOS email app does a lot more, it’s easily configured, no IMAP errors. If we wanted another app, we’d install the official gmail app.
