Apple’s Made-in-Edmonton TV Ad ‘Misunderstood’ Wins 2014 Emmy Award [VIDEO]

Last month we told you Apple’s filmed-in-Edmonton TV ad ‘Misunderstood’, was nominated for a 2014 Creative Arts Emmy Award in the ‘Outstanding Television Commercial’ category.

During an awards presentation on Saturday, Apple and its ad agency TBWA/Media Arts Lab along with production company Park Pictures received an Emmy Award for their nominated category as the best ‘Outstanding Commercial’.

The ad was released back in December 2013 and features a storyline where a family gathering in a snowy backdrop (Edmonton) during Christmas ends with an unexpected touching video. The commercial featured 23 family and extended family members related to Calgary-based actor, Chris Ippolito. The only non-family member was the ‘misunderstood’ teenager, American actor Logan Riley Bruner.
