Apple to Release iOS 8.1 for Download on Monday

Apple has just announced at a special media event held today in Cupertino that it will be releasing iOS 8.1 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad devices on Monday. The update will include Photos public beta, the good old Camera Roll in photos as well the much anticipated Apple Pay (U.S. only), among other enhancements and minor bug fixes.

The following devices will be supported by iOS 8.1:

iPhone 4S
iPhone 5
iPhone 5s
iPhone 5c
iPhone 6
iPhone 6 Plus
iPad 2
iPad 3
iPad 4
iPad Air
iPad Mini
iPad Mini w/Retina Display
iPod Touch 5G
