While announcing the new iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 devices, Apple has also introduced new Smart Cover and Smart Case accessories for its latest tablets. “Even the covers are more brilliant”, notes Apple. The Smart Cases for both iPads are made up of leather construction, while the Smart Covers for both the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 are made of polyurethane.

The Smart Cover is constructed from a single piece of polyurethane, comes in seven bright new colors, and has a sleek covered hinge that custom fits the thin profile of your iPad. The cover also folds into different positions to create a stand for reading, viewing, typing, or making FaceTime calls.
Smart Case (for iPad Air 2 / iPad mini 3)
The leather constructed Smart Case comes in five shades. It wakes your iPad when opened and puts it to sleep on close. And similar to the Smart Cover, it also folds to create a stand, so you can position your iPad for whatever you want to do.
