You can now buy the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 at Apple retail stores in Canada, as noted on the company’s website:
The fine print reads “Supplies may be limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.” This proved true according to the Pacific Centre Apple Store we spoke with in Vancouver, as yesterday they sold out of their initial iPad Air 2 stock but did have iPad mini 3 units available.

Curiously, had iOS 8.1 installed already.
I wonder how they do that on 10M iPads in 4 days!
It’s magical and only Apple could do something this revolutionary.
Probably because 8.1 hit golden master RTM a week or so before it’s release.
Well, yeah but 10M shrink wrapped iPads in a warehouse would be tough to upgrade.
Maybe they just wrapped them all on Tuesday.
Mine says delivery on Tuesday! I ordered 1/2 hour after they went live online. Air2 64g LTE grey. Damn! I ordered the case too. It arrived today (one day early), but it says it’s for an iPad air, not air 2. I’m not feeling very happy right now.
Look for small “second generation” wording on the back.
Weirded me out for a minute too.
