Things for iPhone, iPad is Apple’s Free App of the Week ($30 value)

Germany-based Cultured Code’s task manager Things is currently Apple’s Free App of the Week pick, which means both their iPhone ($9.99) and iPad ($19.99) apps are now free, saving you $30.

This marks the first time Things for iOS has gone free, and according to the company via email “this is a rare opportunity” for people to download the apps at no charge. To compliment the iOS sale, the Mac app has been discounted by 30% to $34.99 (normally $49.99).

Things for iOS and OS X recently were redesigned for iOS 8 and Yosemite with new features such as an “Add to Things” Extension, Handoff between all devices, Background Refresh on iOS, a new iOS app icon, support for iPhone 6 & 6 Plus, and a Today Widget on OS X.

Cultured Code says their app was chosen by Apple as a great app to have for American Thanksgiving (Nov. 27). The use of Things Cloud sync is also free too.

This is a pretty awesome freebie so I suggest you download both the iPhone and iPad apps!
