Amazon.com Slashes 32GB Fire Phone by 55% Off, Available for $199 Unlocked
Amazon USA launched their 4.7-inch Fire smartphone back in June, but it hasn’t turned out to be quite popular. At the time, the 32GB model retailed for $449 unlocked but as part of Black Friday, Amazon has slashed the outright price to $199, savings of 55% off.
If you live near the border and have access to a U.S. mailbox or an ‘Amerifriend’, this is a decent deal for an unlocked smartphone with a 2.2GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM, HD display, 13MP camera with image stabilization, running Android and one year of free Prime. The phone works on GSM networks so it should work fine in Canada.

Amazon most likely is holding this sale until Cyber Monday and stocks are available “for a limited time.” If this is something you’re interested in, it might be worth a couple hundred bucks.
