Microsoft Offers Dropbox Users 100GB of Free OneDrive Storage For 1 Year [u]
Today, Microsoft has announced a new promotion aimed at current Dropbox users. The company is offering 100GB of free OneDrive storage for one year.
If you’re an existing Dropbox user then all you have to do is sign in to your account to claim the promotion.
“OneDrive is free cloud storage from Microsoft where you can keep your photos, videos, and documents in one place and know they are safely and privately stored in the cloud.”
The offer from Microsoft is limited to Dropbox users in the United States and Canada and the promotion will expire after the first 10 million recipients claim their OneDrive storage.
To claim the offer, visit Microsoft’s OneDrive website and click the “Verify and get my storage” button.
Update: We just confirmed this works in Canada as we were able to get the extra 100GB. Go for it!

This works for Canadian Dropbox users too. It’s not limited to US DropBox users. I just tied it, and it added an extra 100GB to my currently OneDrive storage.
Hey, it works also in Czech Republic 😉
Sweet 🙂
I keep getting “Sorry! Something went wrong” when it try to save a file to dropbox. Anyone knows why?
I get the same thing. No idea what’s going on. Logs into my Dropbox fine but throws the error when I try and save the document it gives me.
Same here!!! Not working
You guys are too late. 10 Million limit has probably been reached.
same here
I’m pretty sure they caught on that a bunch of non-US residents are trying to take advantage of this loop-hole, and so they closed it. Too late!
So what happens after the one year is up? Get your data out or lose it unless you pay god knows how much to keep the storage?
