Native Union Announces a Stylish Charging DOCK for Apple Watch [Pre-Order]

Award-winning design studio Native Union has today announced the DOCK for the Apple Watch, a stylish charging dock that offers maximum versatility while recharging the Apple smartwatch. The DOCK provides a secure base for the Apple Watch, whether buckled or unbuckled, holding the device securely in place. It is compatible with all three Apple Watch models – Watch, Watch Sport, Watch Edition – and all strap styles and sizes.

The weighted silicon structure of the charging dock makes it sturdy, whilst its rotating aluminum arm lets you smoothly and firmly control the angle of your watch for optimum viewing. DOCK can be used either vertically or horizontally, so is perfect for charging at your desk or on your bedstand, for a more natural way of viewing your watch whilst lying down. The design is reversible, allowing you to position the arm on whichever side is most convenient.

Sleek and with minimal components, the charger is precision engineered without screws, and assembled by simply slotting two components together. The Apple Watch’s magnetic charging cable is fed into the dock where it is locked in place, which eliminates the frustration of fumbling around on the floor for your charger at night or unsightly messy wires.

John Brunner, co-founder of Native Union comments, “The Apple Watch is designed to be charged at night and worn all day, so investing in a dock will be a priority for many users. Our charging dock creates a secure base for your smartwatch when it’s not on your wrist, not only showcasing the beauty of the device but also giving you a functional platform to navigate your device whilst charging, whether you are checking the time, emails or using apps.”

The DOCK will initially launch in graphite, with an expanded color range to follow. It is currently is available to pre-order for $59.99 from Native Union and will start shipping in August.
