Apple Emails Apple Watch Customers to Book Online “Personal Setup”
Apple has email its Apple Watch customers to book online ‘Personal Setup’ video sessions, so they can learn from an Apple Specialist how to setup the new device from the convenience of home.
The email details the setup will include a quick walkthrough, answer any questions plus recommend some apps and also help you customize your watch.

The online Personal Setup option is targeted at customers who don’t have time to visit an Apple Retail Store or don’t have one in their area (like ourselves). We tried the link within the email to setup our session—here’s what it looks like:

Unfortunately after we signed in with our Apple ID, it returned an error saying “We’re sorry. Something went wrong with your request. Please try again later.” Most likely there is heavy demand for this setup right now, resulting in the error. We’ll try again later as suggested.
Let us know if you booked an online personal setup session, or if you went to get one at a retail store.

I keep getting the error… Tried several times.
Yep same here. Apple support chat had no solution but to say try again later.
I was able to get in, took 2 tries but had one Friday at 4:30, was informative.
