[u] Apple Online Store Goes Down Ahead of Imminent Launch of New iPods [DETAILS]
Update: Apple has released these new iPods.
At the beginning of this month new iPod colours were spotted within iTunes 12.2 by MacRumors, a sign a refresh was coming. Earlier this morning, Apple’s online store went down, a sign new products are coming. As seen in the image below, new colours include blue, gold and pink for various models:

Below is what Mark Gurman from 9to5Mac is hearing, and what we can expect from these new iPods:
- Major camera upgrade from 5 megapixels to 8, matching the count on the iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2.
- New 64-bit chip for faster operation and better graphics for gaming. Will also help it plow through future iOS versions beyond iOS 9.
- “M” chip from the iPhone for fitness, steps, and elevation tracking.
- Pre-loaded with iOS 8.4 and Apple Music following the June 30th launch.
- New 128GB model for $399, still starting at $199 for 16GB. There will also be a $299 model with 64GB of space.

Awesome can’t wait! It will never happen but could you imagine if Apple came out with a cellular version for the iPod. Omg!
Now imagine it with a bigger screen, say something around 4.7″ or maybe even 5.5″, maybe a better camera. On second thought…NAH! probably wouldn’t sell anyway.
Ordered. One gold, one blue. Omg I can’t wait. I love the iPod.
