In 2026, Apple is refreshing how ads appear on the App Store with new top banner ads and more running on search results.
WestJet for iOS Now Supports ‘WestJet Connect’ Inflight Entertainment System
Last month WestJet teased their iOS app would soon support the airline’s new inflight entertainment system to allow customers to watch right from the iPhone or iPad. The company’s iOS app has been updated to support WestJet Connect, which requires a supported flight that has Wi-Fi:

This update includes:
• WestJet Connect feature which enables access to inflight entertainment, including TV, movies and Internet. Watch for WestJet Connect on select flights.
