Square Enix Unleashes Final Fantasy VII for iPhone and iPad

Square Enix has ported its classic RPG Final Fantasy VII to iOS, which it says has sold over 11 million units worldwide (packaged sales and downloads), since the original launch 18 years ago.

The first Final Fantasy to feature 3D backgrounds and CG movie scene.Play using a simple and comfortable virtual controller designed not to obscure the action. Two new features, the option to turn enemy encounters off and a Max Stats command to become all-powerful to make play easier and more convenient.Relive the inspiring tale in your hands.

The company says the game takes up roughly 2GB of memory and 4GB of free space is required to download it, and recommends iPhone 5s or newer and iPad 3 and iPad mini 2 or newer to play the game.

I think the 15.99 is the US price as it is shown as 18.99 for me too.

Too bad the new PS4 remake of FFVII will be like FF13/13-2 like game play possibly since they are getting rid of the ATB system in place of something “newer”.

I would buy this if I didnt already have FFVII on my PSVita and the original for the PS1….
