If you’ve been eyeing the gorgeous Space Black Link Bracelet for Apple Watch, it is now available for standalone purchase, for just $749 CAD ($549 USD). As you can see, our exchange rate is really impacting the cost of Apple products.
The silver Link Bracelet ($599) has always been available but now Space Black has been added to the mix, as noticed by Apple engineer Patrick Burleson on Twitter (via iMore). It has an ‘Available to ship’ estimate of one business day.
At the cost of $749 CAD for the Space Black Link Bracelet on its own, that’s nearly the cost of a 42mm Apple Watch ($779) and more than a 38mm or 42mm Apple Watch Sport ($449/$519). For $150 more, you could nab yourself a 16GB iPhone 6s. Choices must be made!

In the past I was able to justify prices for most of apple products, but Apple Watch pricings are simply ridiculous. I am not sure what their business plan is but it looks like it is working on most of the people.
Who buys this??? That’s insane! At first I thought the watch came with it, and I still wouldn’t pay that kinda money.. But just the link… C’mon, surely there’s better things to waste your money on.
Now maybe it is because I am out of touch with the watch market not having worn one in about 10 – 15 yrs but how are the bands sooooooooo expensive? I really don’t get how the band costs more than the watch itself.

I bought this with the watch at launch, I love it. In my opinion its the best looking of all the Apple watches. 1,500 was a lot but the way I see it the band will still work with the next apple watch I buy so its not a cost I will have everytime I want to upgrade. And seeing now the space black comes with just a standard sport band driving down the cost it makes me feel better about getting the next model sooner
