WatchOS 2 Download Now Available for Apple Watch
WatchOS 2 was supposed to be available last week with iOS 9, but Apple delayed it due to a bug. Just now, watchOS 2 is now available as a download over-the-air. WatchOS 2 brings new watch faces, along with native third-party apps which should make for much faster load times.
Just launch the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, go to Settings > General > Software Update to get the download, which stands at 515MB. You will be require a Wi-Fi network for the download, plus at least 50% battery life on your Apple Watch. We’re updating our watch now and will follow up shortly.

Wish I could get this via iTunes! We don’t have wifi at work…boo!! Have to wait 5 hours until I get home.
ask someone else with an iphone if you can glom onto their hotspot 🙂
Just started update showing 57 minutes remaining. Server must be really busy.
Yeah, maybe it was a smart move to delay the release, because I could only imagine the strain of iOS 9 + watchOS 2 in a single day on servers.
Almost 2 1/2 hours later and I’m now at the verifying stage.
not working for me, it’s saying I’m not connected to the internet (but I am)
Same here.
It was giving me the same error last week as well(before the update was released).
Not available for me…
downloading for me right now…
Downloading and installing now…. just a very slow process… so patience is the key 🙂
