How to Fix Slow Loading App Store on Your iOS Device
If the App Store on your iOS device is loading very slowly or is not showing app updates correctly, this quick fix discovered by Zachary Drayer (via AppAdvice) may help solve the the issue. You basically need to refresh your App Store app’s cache, by tapping on any of the tab bar items 10 times, such as Featured, Top Charts, Explore, Search or Updates.

To make this work, make sure you tap on the same item 10 times for the cache to clear. Once done successfully, the app screen will go blank for a few seconds before resetting. The source says that this fix also works in the native Watch and iTunes apps too.

Interesting little trick. I just tried it and it worked.
I’m not sure if this is a hidden refresh, or are we simply crashing the app, forcing a system redraw?
cool work perfect
It’s “Featured” not “Favourites”!
Thanks, fixed!
Nice. Thanks for the tip
Can girls swear in iPhoneInCanada’s comments? Please? Because I really want to say, that is the best ducking tip ever and duck me (not literally boys settle down) that is absolutely awesome.
It works. No more waiting in iTunes and the App Store. It was so frustrating.

Wow, this should be better documented by Apple. I just tried it and the store is much more snappy.
