Fido My Account for iPhone Update Leads to Broken App
Fido My Account for iPhone was updated yesterday to bring “tips, tricks and more”, but right now the app doesn’t work after installing the update. We’ve tried reinstalling, but a message reads “Sorry, our bad. Seems we can’t display your details right now” (on our iPhone 6s Plus).
Not sure when this will be fixed, but just a heads up if you use this app to track your account usage. Looks to be a connection issue of some sort.

Sadly, yes.
Well, as a beginner at Swift development, I can only learn from Fido’s mistake.
I have not been able to use the app for months on end now. I use the Web now. I just get a white blank screen.
You couldn’t log into the website using desktop Safari a couple weeks ago, which was just dandy when it came to paying the bill. Thankfully it was fine in Firefox.

The app is fairly limited already, now it’s extreamly limited. Got to give the developer credit though, at least the app launches. ./Sarcasm -off
the app update itself didn’t necessarily break it as i was able to “successfully” log in right after i updated yesterday. (“successful” if you count freezing on a faded version of my account details for 20s.)
but thats about the only credit i’ll give it. it made a ridiculous and misleading claim that the tips section required me to allow push notifications to function (which i did not allow, and it worked fine). i encountered the tip to enable wifi calling, which has failed every time i’ve ever tried to enable it.
it failing to connect to the network today is really just par for the course; the app has always had about a 50% failure rate when trying to use it.
I guess I’ll wait until I update. The last time it took a few days for the app to work for me. Then it worked fine, except for needing to login while on WiFi. But when I was on cell, it would log me in automatically, but it showed the old layout.
Was just reading the reviews in the App store and it doesn’t sound like it has been fixed. I’m going to wait.
