Twitter Debuts GIF Search for Tweets and Direct Messages

Sharing GIFs in Tweets and Direct Messages is now even easier with Twitter’s new GIF search feature which is rolling out worldwide starting today. Users can now search and browse the GIF library while composing a Tweet or Direct Message, and find the perfect cat yawn or dance move to express exactly how they feel.

To search, simply tap the new GIF button that appears while composing a Tweet or Direct Message, and search by keyword, or browse through categories of different reactions like Happy Dance, Mic Drop, or YOLO. Starting today, GIF search will roll out over the coming weeks to everyone around the world on iOS and the web.

Do you often embed GIFs in your Tweets and Direct Messages?

I wish third party apps would gain these features. I can’t stand the twitter app.
