CIBC, PC Financial Mobile Banking Apps Get Touch ID Fixes and More

Mobile banking apps from CIBC and PC Financial for iOS received an update today to address numerous bug fixes.

After both apps gained Touch ID, Apple Watch and iPhone 6 support last month, some users have suffered issues from app crashing and more.

Today’s release fixes e-Transfer load times, crash issues when setting up Touch ID (PC Financial), performance improvements for the password sign-on screen and issues involving the showing of mortgage details.

CIBC Mobile Banking release notes are below:

• Resolved intermittent issues during sign on, transfer of funds and searches
• Changed how credit card amounts are displayed
• Fixed bill payment and transfer issues for small business accounts
• Addressed issues impacting eDeposit
• Made it easier to differentiate positive and negative balances
• Resolved issues displaying details for some mortgages
• Fixed an issue with the password field at Sign On
• Other minor enhancements and fixes

PC Financial release notes are below:

• For e-Transfer users, improved loading time and addressed issues for tablet
• Resolved issues displaying mortgage details
• Addressed intermittent crashing issues and issues when setting up Touch ID
• Improved keyboard response during sign in
• Users with more than 25 billing companies saved to the billing company list can continue to access those companies
• Fixed an issue with the password field at Sign On

If you’ve experienced any bugs with either one of these apps, definitely jump on this update now, which is available in the App Store.
