Apple Updates App Store Guidelines With Enforced Rules Against Low-Effort Apps
Within the App Store Guidelines support page, Apple urges developers not to "submit apps that are indistinguishable from what's already widely available."
Air Video HD Now Supports iPad Pro Split-Screen Multitasking, Picture-in-Picture
One of our favourite iOS apps of all time, Air Video HD, has been updated to support split-screen multitasking and picture-in-picture on the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. This means you’ll now be able to continue to watch your videos while you’re doing something else, or have one side of the iPad Pro’s screen dedicated to Air Video HD.
Air Video HD streams any video from your computer (after installing Air Video on your desktop) to your iOS device or Apple TV 4, and does it extremely well with real-time transcoding, for essentially any video format such as AVI, DivX, MKV and more (except DRM protected videos). Air Video launched a dedicated app for Apple TV 4 and it’s equally awesome to use.
