When tvOS 9.2 is released, it will come with new features users will appreciate, such as Bluetooth keyboard support and more. Here’s a full list of what to expect:

  • Updated Apple TV Remote firmware: improved motion sensing performance; support for additional sound bar and receiver hardware; Apple TV will also automatically attempt to update the remote’s firmware every six days, when both are inactive
  • Dictation support for onscreen text entry in countries where Siri is supported
  • Dictation support for the App Store to search for an app name or category of apps
  • iCloud Photo Library, Live Photos support
  • Conference Room Display Mode
  • Bluetooth Keyboard support
  • Folders for apps on the Home screen
  • MapKit support
  • Siri support for US Spanish (in US only) and French Canadian (in Canada only); Siri for UK English, Australian English
  • Updated App Switcher user interface
Earlier this week, Apple similarly seeded sixth betas of iOS 9.3, watchOS 2.2 and OS X 10.11.4 to developers. We could expect the final releases set for Apple’s March 21 special event, which the company confirmed today.

No word if the update will fix our issue of always grabbing the Apple TV 4 remote upside down (#firstworldproblems).
