BuzzFeed Video for iPhone launched last month and it essentially brings all of BuzzFeed’s addictive videos taking over your Facebook feed into one app, like those frickin’ Tasty videos you can’t stop watching.

The app supports push notifications for new videos from BuzzFeed’s productions, so you’ll never miss another video. The layout is simple, with a ‘Trending’ tab on the bottom left, next to a ‘Shows’ tab. The top video within the app will autoplay, to ensure you can waste away your life immediately.
The app settings, accessible via the Shows tab in the top right corner, allows you to disable Quantcast tracking, which is enabled by default.
BuzzFeed product director Jesse Shapins, told TechCrunch the app uses its own native video player–which brings more stats about user activity and for a ‘better’ user experience. Right now, the app is starting out with BuzzFeed’s existing video catalogue, and will eventually debut new episodes in the app first, before anywhere else.
Back to those darn Tasty videos taking over your Facebook newsfeed. According to NYMag, BuzzFeed’s Tasty videos, which only launched last July, already have nearly 50 million Facebook fans, 84 million comments and 8 billion views and counting. That’s insane.
