Apple’s Free App of the Week: Space Marshals ($4.99 Value)

Up for grabs this week as Apple’s Free App of the Week is Space Marshals, which normally costs $4.99 USD in the App Store.

The game from Sweden’s Pixelbite, which is a sci-fi wild west adventure game, takes place in outer space. It’s a tactical top-down shooter as you play the role of Burton, to hunt for fugitives that have escaped from prison. The clever game has positive reviews in iTunes, as people really like it. The game’s chapter three update debuted last August.

The game debuted in the App Store just over a year ago and supports Apple’s Metal API for fantastic graphics and also MFi controllers, iCloud save game support and GameCenter achievements.

The game is available for iPhone and iPads running iOS 7 or higher, and comes in at a 321MB download.
