Last year in November, AgileBits introduced the beta version of 1Password for Teams and today, the software is officially being made available to general public. The company has also announced a special pricing to celebrate the launch of 1Password Teams, as well as a free 30-day trial to try out the service.
“1Password for Teams allows you to share the convenience and security of 1Password with everyone in your life. It gives you the tools you need to control and manage access to your most important information. New to 1Password for Teams is the Admin Console, a central location to manage your team, vaults and items.
The Admin Console makes teamwork a breeze and it completely changes the way you use 1Password in a group environment. It’s packed with features you’ve been asking for, and several new ones you didn’t know you needed”.
There are two pricing plans being offered for 1Password Teams. The Standard plan gives you everything you need to secure and manage your team, while Pro is designed for teams with advanced business needs. Once you create your team you will be able to subscribe to the Pro plan and get all the extra features for the Standard price. There’s also a special plan for all those who subscribe by July 31st.
1Password Teams support is already available for Mac, iOS, and Android apps, while support for Windows will be coming in August.
