This Case Will Bring the Headphone Jack Back to Your iPhone 7

Fuze

Fuze Cases for iPhone 7 and 7 Plus is new Indiegogo campaign, that promises to bring back the headphone port to your new iPhone, featuring an integrated Lightning to 3.5mm audio jack adapter (via The Next Web). In addition, the cases also deliver double battery life as well as scratch and shock protection, all while maintaining the iPhone’s compact profile. “No dongles, no adapters, no problem”, says the company behind the Fuze Cases.

Buy a Fuze case for your iPhone 7 or 7 Plus and bring back the jack. Don’t get tangled up in a mess of adapters. You should be able to listen to music with your favorite headphones whenever you want. When you purchase Fuze, you’re purchasing the freedom of choice — something that itself should be free.

While most cases extend your phone on the bottom with a “chin”, sometimes up to 15mm, Fuze keeps the iPhone’s slim design profile. “Our case only adds volume where it’s necessary”. Fuze has an incredibly thin profile, adding only 5mm to the overall thickness of the iPhone.

The case is currently available for $59 (plus shipping), and will eventually sell for $69 in retail. To back the project, click this link.

Sounds like a pretty lofty promise, no surprise it’s coming from a crowd funding campaign.

Any word on how this will affect the iPhone’s waterproofness?

I don’t buy from companies I never heard of when there’s electronics involved. I’m sure similar products will be available at your local neighbourhood Chinese night markets

Having the iPhone 7 Plus, I always get made fun of by my friends with, “Good luck charging your phone and listening to music”

My reply always is, “Sounds like an Android problem, my battery lasts the entire day.” Lol.
I haven’t been inconvenienced once by not having a headphone jack because I only charge my phone at night while I sleep. Don’t need both ports.
