Apple’s Newest Beats Solo 3 Wireless Headphones are 20% Off at Chapters

Apple’s latest Beats Solo 3 Wireless headphones include the company’s newest W1 chip for easy pairing, 40 hours of battery life, plus also have Fast Fuel, which means a 5-minute charges equals three hours of playback.

The retail price of these headphones are $329.95 CAD from Apple and they rarely go on sale. But think again, because Chapters has them for 20% off both in-store and online at $263.96, saving you about $66.

The Beats Solo 3 Wireless headphones—announced in early September—contain the same W1 chip found in Apple’s wireless AirPods, which are expected to debut soon, after being delayed by the company.

Rarely have we seen a new Apple product or accessory go on sale so quickly at 20% off, so if you’ve been thinking about, go get a pair. It’s worth noting all Beats headphones are on sale at Chapters, beyond this model.

The sale goes until November 6, 2016. Let us know if you’re going to jump on this!

How are the headphones themselves? Before Apple bought them, Beats headphones had a bad reputation among audio guys because supposedly they were cheaply made and didn’t use high end audio blah blah blah. Is that still the case, or has Apple beefed them up?

I’m wondering how they will compare with a good pair of Sennheiser or another quality headphone like the Audio Technica ATH-M50. Which, incidentally, can be had for less than $200 CDN most of the time.

So far im pretty impressed . The bass notes are maybe a little over done but nothing that should steer people away.

Sick deal! I just got about a month ago from the apple store. They are phenominal on battery life. I have used them multiple times for hrs and hrs, and I have still not charged them once. They still have 40-50% charge on their first charge.

I managed to get a black pair today but I had to insist with the cashier because the price on the retail box wasn’t discounted so I had to show him the product page on their website. Even though, he was convinced that the discount was applicable only through a web order which is clearly not the case (it’s not mentioned anywhere). So just thought it would be convenient to let you know to insist if you encounter such a situation, and keep the page showing the discount open in your phone in case you need it. That being said, I love those headphones, it took me literally 20 seconds to pair them with my iPhone 7+! And so far they are great!!

Picked these up today. The Source priced matched the Chapters price. Was waiting for AirPods but not a huge fan of the ‘earpod’ form-factor and with the delays pulled the trigger on these… Coming from wired Sennheiser Momentum over-ears. Was concerned about Beats build and sound quality but I am impressed so far. I’m no audiophile but I’m happy and the price was right. Definitely looking forward to the W1 iCloud across my devices.
