Google Canada’s 2016 Year in Review: ‘iPhone 7’ Tops Consumer Tech

Google has released data for its 2016 year in review, and Canadian specific data shows Apple’s iPhone 7 topped trending search results in the Consumer Technology category.

The iPhone 7 beat out the Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy Note 7, Google Pixel and the Nintendo Switch. Out of the top 10 results, we were surprised to see ‘Bose headphones’ make the list:

Thanks to the power of the Internet and memes, the top “Who is?” search was for Harambe, the gorilla that died a tragic death in the Cincinnati Zoo.
