Facebook’s 2016 Games of the Year recognizes the best games, developers and publishers, that have made an impression on the players during the year. Facebook says it has invested in more areas outside of its web games, and “introduced new ways for people to engage with games across multiple experiences”. New categories added this year include Best Instant Games, Best Gameroom Games and Best Use of Facebook Live.
