Rogers’ Chatr Mobile Launches ‘Data Plus’ Top-Up Feature
Chatr Mobile, a ‘discount’ wireless carrier owned by Rogers, has launched a new feature called Data Plus today, which allows users to purchase one-time data top-ups, when they’ve reached their monthly data buckets (up to three times before your next Anniversary date).
Data Plus is a convenient, one-time data top-up that increases your data allotment. Data Plus is available when you need data to get you through to your next Anniversary Date. Stay connected and up-to-speed at an affordable price without changing your plan.

For customers on the company’s Talk & Text plans ($25/$35/$45) with the data add-on, they will receive an SMS when they hit 75% and 100% of their monthly data allotments.
For customers on an in-zone Talk, Text and Data plan ($40/$45/$50), they will get notified by SMS when they hit 90% and 100% of their monthly 3G speed allotment.
When SMS messages are received, customers will have the option to immediately purchase a data top-up that can be used up to three times per billing cycle. Here’s what’s available:
- $5 for 200 MB (Chatr Talk and Text plan with data add-on customers)
- $5 for 500 MB at 3G speeds (Chatr in-zone Talk, Text and Data plan customers)
