AgileBits have just announced the release of their latest 1Password app update i.e version 6.6 for Mac, that brings a number of performance improvements, bug fixes, and a brand new Touch Bar capability. While the app has supported MacBook Pro’s Touch Bar previously, today’s update brings the ability to customize your Strong Password Generator settings directly from the Touch Bar.

“The Strong Password Generator now appears in the Touch Bar on the new MacBook Pro! We’re pretty excited about what we’ve been able to do with the Touch Bar so far, but we know there’s even more we can accomplish”.

The other major improvement is a new setup screen, which most users probably won’t see until the next time they’re setting up a new Mac.

When editing items there is now a Done button on the Touch Bar to save changes. The text on the Touch ID prompt has been clarified. Tons of bugs have also been addressed in the update.
